Peperangan hanya menyisakan tangis dan kesedihan begitupun dengan Kebiadaban dan kekejian Israel yang tak henti-hentinya memerangi rakyat Palestina, Serangan Israel yang berlangsung sejak 27 Desember 2008 menewaskan lebih dari 1000 rakyat sipil dan 4000 lebih warga yang terluka, protes dan lobi-lobi diplomasi dari negara-negara didunia berlangsung alot agar Israel segera menghentikan invasinya ke palestina tapi tak sedikitpun Israel mengendurkan serangannya ke Gaza malah berita terakhir yang terdengar bahwa Israel akan melakukan serangan dahsyat ke wilayah Gaza pada hari ke 20 kamis 15 Januari 2009, dengan alasan bahwa Israel akan menumpas habis HAMAS yang dinilai teroris dan membahayakan bagi kelangsungan negara Yahudi itu.

Atas terjadinya serangan itu, negara dan rakyat didunia turut prihatin serta terus
mengalirkan bantuan-bantuan kemanusian untuk rakyat palestina, begitu pun dengan seorang Musisi penulis lagu, produser, dan pemilik studio Gitar dari Los Angeles "Michael Heart" yang mendedikasikan lagunya khusus untuk rakyat Palestina yang sedang dilanda kemelut peperangan. Dalam official websitenya tertulis bahwa Dia memutuskan untuk membuat lagu ini secara gratis dan meminta agar setelah men-download lagunya sebagai penghormatan atas karyanya diminta untuk mendonasikan langsung ke lembaga/organisasi amal untuk meringankan penderitaan dari rakyat palestina yaitu UNWRA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East).

I have been overwhelmed by the warmth and the friendship you have all given me in response to my song for Gaza, "We Will Not Go Down". I am doing my best to go through your numerous messages, emails and comments, and ask you to kindly bear with me until I am able to do so. Please forgive me if I am not able to respond to each and everyone of you; but please also know that I really appreciate your messages.

My original intention to donate proceeds from the sale of the MP3 to charity has been complicated by technical matters; therefore, I have decided to make the song available free of charge. I would like to request that after downloading the song from this page, you kindly donate directly to a charity or an organization dedicated to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
